Bloomfield🌸
blooming in progress...
A week ago, I packed my bags, hugged my friends goodbye, and shed heart-wrenching tears at the park as I said goodbye to the place that had unintentionally become my home for 4 years. This city, sorry, town that I have a love-hate entanglement with, had somehow crept into my heart and purchased shares I had no idea were available for IPO. But today is not a day to sing an ode to Ado.
Today is also not a day to talk about why I left or what I am doing with my life right now or where I am, except that it is the popular Garden City, home to a thousand flyovers and my actual home.
Today is the day I write my first article after a 5-year hiatus, Bloomfield. Tbh, I am still undecided on what I will call it or the shape or form it will take, but I am certain of one thing, right now. It is that I shall tell a story of a young girl, a flower in an open field, gathering every nutrient she can from the soil she has been planted in, to bloom magnificently enough to be admired and maintain enough security to not be abruptly plucked by onlookers who claim to be admirers but can only admire by cutting off.
This is Bloomfield by Blossom🌸❤
come along if you so please…
